Veteran Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu, widely known as Shina Rambo, has responded firmly after a video showing him selling goods at a local market went viral online.

A few days earlier, the actor was seen organizing and selling second-hand clothing—commonly referred to as okrika—at a bustling market in Enugu, Nigeria.

The video, which was recorded and posted by a stranger, quickly gained massive attention on social media, with many people expressing surprise and cr¡t¡cizing him for engaging in such a business.

In response to the b4ckl4sh, Madu shared a video from his business trip in London. He clearly stated that he travelled there to source more goods, which he plans to ship back to Nigeria for resale.

According to him, the clothes he sells are not second-hand okrika but quality items he imports, often taking advantage of sales abroad to bring in fresh stock.

He further told his critics to continue talking while he keeps pushing and expanding his business. Madu emphasized that there is dignity in labour and urged Nigerian youths to engage in legitimate hustles rather than staying idle or begging on social media.

He maintained that being an actor does not stop him from running a profitable side business, adding that many Nigerians, including celebrities, engage in various ventures to sustain themselves.

Sylvester Madu has repeatedly emphasized that he takes pride in his hustle and has no reason to feel ashamed about working hard to make an honest living.
