The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has directed all State Registration Coordinators to ensure every party member is registered in the ongoing nationwide electronic membership exercise, warning that coordinators who fail will be replaced.

Professor Yilwatda described the role of coordinators as pivotal to strengthening the party, stressing that accurate registration reflects real membership strength and underpins electoral success. He instructed State Party Chairmen to fully support coordinators and urged the use of Android phones where tablets are unavailable to prevent delays.

He condemned attempts to block or disenfranchise members, emphasizing that no chairman, coordinator, or governor has the power to exclude any party member. Yilwatda linked the exercise to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms, stating that a credible membership database is crucial for internal democracy, planning, and accountability.

Delta State leads in progress, followed by Lagos, Kebbi, Adamawa, and Plateau, with all coordinators pledging full commitment to meet the January 30 deadline.
