In a troubling incident in Kwara State, bandits have attacked the community of Isapa in the Ekiti Local Government Area, abducting 11 residents, including a pregnant woman and several children. The attack occurred around 6:00 p.m. on a Monday, just days after a previous kidnapping of worshippers in the area.

Witnesses reported that a group of 20 to 30 armed assailants invaded the village, brandishing guns and leading a herd of cattle. As they shot indiscriminately, residents fled in fear. A local community leader confirmed that seven victims were taken from a single household, expressing deep concern over the growing frequency and severity of these attacks.

The community is now on high alert, with locals fearing for their safety and uncertain about future attacks. The identified abductees include individuals of various ages, from a six-year-old to nursing mothers. Bullet casings were found scattered throughout the area, underscoring the violence of the raid.
