February 5, 2025 — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Wednesday for a private trip to Paris, France, prior to attending the African Union (AU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. According to a statement from Bayo Onanuga, the presidential spokesman, President Tinubu’s agenda in France includes an important meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. After his stay in France, President Tinubu will head to Addis Ababa, where he will participate in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Heads of State Assembly.
