The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced a change in the venue for its Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting originally scheduled for today at Wadata Plaza, Abuja. The meeting will now take place at the Yar’Adua Center in the Central Business District.
The announcement was made via the party’s official Facebook account around noon, shortly after reports emerged that police had sealed off the national secretariat, preventing party leaders from entering. The police reportedly acted on what was described as “an order from above,” leading to the swift decision to relocate.
All BoT members, some of whom were already en route to the original venue, have been urged to reroute to the new location.
