Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has become the club’s all-time fourth-highest scoring foreign player following his goal in a 3-0 victory over Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
Osimhen sealed the win with Galatasaray’s third goal in the 73rd minute, after Barış Alper Yılmaz had opened the scoring in the 19th minute and Yunus Akgün doubled the lead for the visitors.
The Nigerian international’s strike took his tally for Galatasaray to 52 goals, allowing him to surpass former striker Bafétimbi Gomis, who scored 51 goals for the club.
Osimhen now sits fourth on the list of Galatasaray’s highest-scoring foreign players, behind Mauro Icardi (73 goals), Gheorghe Hagi (72 goals), and Milan Baros (61 goals).
