Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has pledged the state’s support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. Aiyedatiwa made this declaration on Friday, also lauding the members of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in the state as key figures in Ondo’s politics. He was formally invested as the Grand Patron of the group during its inauguration in Akure.
Prince Ademola Adegoroye, the Director General of the TSG Ondo State Chapter, called on all residents and groups to support President Tinubu, highlighting the benefits the state has received from the President’s projects. Adegoroye described the event as an effort to recognize Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as president.
Umar Tanko Yakassai, the National Director General of TSG, attended the event in Akure to officially inaugurate the state structure. He commended the new leadership’s unity and readiness, noting that TSG is a leading support group in Nigeria. Yakassai also expressed confidence that the North would support Tinubu in 2027 due to his bold economic reforms.
