The Nigeria Icons/Leaders of Good Governance Lectures & Awards ceremony was held on September 2025 at the National Merit House in Maitama, Abuja, bringing together Nigerians from all works of life to celebrate the winners of this year’s merit awards.
Speakers’ Insights
Engineer Gabriel Omolaolu emphasized the importance of honesty and love for one another, regardless of tribe, religion, or political affiliation, in rebuilding Nigeria. - Sen. UBA Sani: Governor of Kaduna State, won the Best Performing Governor of the Year for restoring peace and security in Southern Kaduna and fast-tracking infrastructural development.
- Special Control Unit against Money Laundering under EFCC: Won the Best Performing Financial Regulatory Agency of the Year.
