Former President Goodluck Jonathan has dismissed reports suggesting that he has stepped aside from the 2027 presidential contest.
Reacting to an online publication that claimed Jonathan had lost interest in the race, his brother clarified that the story was false and without foundation. He insisted that no such decision had been made by the former president and urged the public to disregard the misleading narrative.
Jonathan, who has remained a key figure in Nigeria’s political landscape since leaving office in 2015, continues to be linked with strong permutations around the 2027 elections.
