Also, one of the most trilling part of parents is seeing wards grow up to start families of their own, with the hope of making them grand and great grand parents.
So it was for the first citizens and family of Lagos State, the Sanwo Olus, as they witnessed their beautiful and inteligent daughter got wedded to her heartthrob Oladele.
The memorable event was monitored by Governance Today Nigeria (GTN).
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday 7th April,.2024, gave out his daughter, Modupeoreoluwa, in marriage to her lover, Oladele.
The white wedding was held a week after their traditional wedding.
The union was solemnised at the Cathedral Church of Christ in Lagos by the Anglican Bishop of Lagos, Rt. Revd. Ifedola Okupevi.
The wedding was attended by dignitaries, including Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu; Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State; Senator Hope Uzodimma of Imo State; Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State; Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State; Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State; and former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, among others.
