Group Awards World Bank Director Dr. Shubbam For Excellence on His Retirement

The Publisher of Governance Today Nigeria Mr. Sylvester Abudu Omose in conjunction with independent Good Governance Monitoring Network, has given an award to the World Bank Country Serving Director in Nigeria, Dr. Shubbam Chaudhuri for his vital role in ensuring good governance and economy reform in the Nigeria.

Dr. Chaudhuri, who has served as the longest World Bank Country Director was decorated with the award on Friday at his sent-forth party in Abuja at the Jakes top roof, Silver Bird Gallary for Excellence, Purposeful Leadership and Stewardship.

During the send-forth event some the staff who came out to share their experiences of working with the world Bank Director says, Dr Shudbam is a man who redefined leadership and good working environment who have regards for those that work under him.

Another of the staff said we will Mrs Dr Shudbam for his care, advice and encouragement. He is a good boss I wish always have.

The icing of the event is when one of the domestic staff Mr Matthew Opeyemi Oluwasegun came to the claring of the audience to decorate Dr Shudbam for his exceptional love and care the retiring director showers on the domestic staff. Pastor Matthew thanked the retired director for being his mentor and role model.

So many relatives, friends and associates who grace the occasion were all very happy to hear the good testimonies given on the account of the very own Dr Shudbam.

It’s fact by Shakespeare, that “the evil that men do live after them, but the good deeds on water” But in the case of the World Bank Country Director Dr Shudbam Chaudhuri is good deeds are still living with, follow him back to his home country and will forever lived with him.
