Among the notable defectors welcomed into the APC were Andrew Uzamere, a sitting member of the Edo State House of Assembly, and former council chairman Peter Ekhator. Both expressed their commitment to the APC and praised Okpebholo’s performance as a key factor in their decision to join the party.
