The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for July 24 to elect a new national chairman. This decision was made during an NWC meeting where Ali Bukar Dalori, the party’s deputy national chairman (North), officially assumed the role of acting national chairman following Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje’s resignation.
In a statement to journalists after the meeting at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, APC Deputy National Secretary Festus Fuanter confirmed that a notice for the NEC meeting has already been sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
