Other players already present are Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igho Ogbu and Tochukwu Nnadi, giving head coach Eric Chelle a solid base to begin work.

Twelve additional players are expected to arrive on Monday, after which the Super Eagles will hold their first official training session at 8 p.m. local time. The session is scheduled to take place inside the main bowl of the Cairo International Stadium, with the coaching crew and backroom staff already fully settled in camp to oversee preparations.

As part of their final tune-up before the tournament, Nigeria will face hosts Egypt in an international friendly on Tuesday, December 16, in Cairo.
