The Governor of Enugu state Dr. Peter Mbah has approved the sum of N80,000 as minimum wage for enugu workers with immediate effect.
Governor Mbah made the announcement at the Lion building, while receiving a report of the committee set up to review the minimum wage process in the state.
He said, “Today i am happy to announce a new minimum wage for workers in Enugu state, reflecting our fidelity to their welfare in regard to which we have been resolutely committed.
