A tragic incident happened on Sunday morning when a two-storey building in the Papa Ajao, Ladipo, Mushin district of the state mysteriously collapsed, trapping a number of people, including women and children.
As sympathisers and emergency personnel started their effort to rescue the trapped victims, the catastrophe has thrown the entire neighbourhood into disarray.
Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Authourity, LASEMA, Dr. Femí Oke-Osanyitolu, who is presently at the scene of the collapse, said evacuation of survivors and search for trapped victims were still ongoing
“The area has been cordoned off to allow for seamless rescue operations.
GTN also gathered through a statement from Oke-Osanyitolu that, “they can’t confirm any number of casualities as rescue operation are on-going,”
